Types of washing machines
Window washing machine / Front washing machine
The opening is at the front. The control panel and the detergent drawer are generally accessible from the front. Standard size (85 cm high and 60 cm wide), many slightly larger front washing machines called “large capacity” washing machines can accommodate up to 13 kg of laundry.

Top washing machine (top opening)
The opening is on the top. The TOP are narrower than the “front” (standard width of 40 or 45 cm). The control panel is generally located behind the cover.

Washer dryer
Dual function, the washer-dryer combines the washing function of a washing machine and the drying function of a tumble dryer. It can dry about 50% of the total capacity of the machine.

Built-in and integrated washing machine
A built-in washing machine coordinated with the rest of the kitchen by adding a door. It can slip under a worktop. The control panel may or may not be visible. A fully integrated or full washing machine also has hinges on which a door is fixed, allowing the control panel to appear or not.
